Consumption – I buy most things second hand, ranging from my phone, my coat and even my vacuum cleaner! Occasionally I buy a brand new item, but then I'm looking for good quality that lasts long. I also avoid unnecessary packaging materials whenever it's possible.
Food – I eat vegan food most days, but I can't really call myself a vegan because I'm not that strict. I still eat eggs a couple times per week. I've stopped buying dairy products and haven't bought a cheese for months now! In social situations I'm more flexible with what I eat, and sometimes eat fish.
Flying – I guess I have to talk about it even if it's a bit embarrassing... Last winter I flew to Australia and back, that was 40 hours. Then I flew to Spain and back in the summer, between London and Helsinki when I couldn't take the train and that one 6,5h flight from the Canary Islands back to Helsinki. I'll do better this year, I promise!
Electricity and heating – I have a green electricity contract and generally use quite little energy at home. I keep my flat quite cool and wear warm clothes instead and I don't waste electricity on things like tumble drying my clothes.
